Coins & Quotes

Which coins a crypto payment can use, their minimums, and what an order costs in each coin.

List coins#

GEThttps://paylio.org/api/v1/crypto/currencies

Returns every coin with its coin identifier and minimum, plus whether direct crypto is enabled for your account. Coins rarely change, so cache the list for a few hours.

crypto_enabledboolean

Whether your key can create crypto payments. If false, creating one returns 403 crypto_disabled.

fee_percentnumber

Your crypto fee in percent.

coins[].coinstring

Identifier to pass as coin when you create a payment.

coins[].min_amountstring

Smallest payment in coin units.

coins[].is_stablecoinboolean

USD-pegged coins such as USDT and USDC.

Get a quote#

GEThttps://paylio.org/api/v1/crypto/quote

Converts an order amount into a coin amount at the current price, for example to show "about 0.00052 BTC" while the customer chooses a coin. A quote reserves nothing: the binding amount is fixed when you create the payment.

Query parameters#

Order amount, 0.01 to 10000.

crypto_amountstring

Coin amount for amount, rounded up.

pricestring

Price of one coin in currency.

min_amount / min_amount_fiatstring

The coin's fixed minimum in coins, and the current minimum in your currency. On EVM networks the latter rises with gas prices (at least 10 times the network fee).

network_fee_estimatestring | null

Expected network fee of the payout in your currency, deducted from it. null where it is not estimated.

below_minimumboolean

true if creating this payment would fail with below_minimum. Hide the coin or raise the amount.

Rate limits

60 quotes per minute per API key and per account. Prices are refreshed at most once a minute, so quoting the same coin again within a minute returns the same price.

Pass the identifier as coin. Minimums are in coin units; for stablecoins they are roughly the same in USD.
